Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order : U80034, Crozen Lane, Hereford , Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U80034, Crozen Lane, Hereford, between the junction of Park Street and the junction with Eign Road. Grid Ref: 351988 / 239368. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Park Street onto Eign Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to reinforcement to HV & LV cable works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 8th of October 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 weeks.
