NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the U71603 The Thorn, Wrigglesbrook Kingsthorne Temporary Closure Order 2018 to

U71603 The Thorn, Wrigglesbrook Kingsthorne Temporary Closure Order 2018

temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the junction with the C1263 to the junction with U71609 Pages Pitch OS Grid Ref: 349840/232143 to 350168/232022. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1263 Green acre to Barn House onto the U71609 Forges Lane onto the U71608 Ladywell Lane onto the U71606 Wrigglebrook Lane onto the U71607 Wrigglebrook Pitch onto the U71603 Little Birch Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of new water service connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 1stOctober 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
