Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1034 Ledicot Lane From B4362, Shobdon, Temporary Road Closure Order 2018, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1034 Ledicot Lane From B4362, Shobdon, outside Melrose Cottage. OS Grid Ref: 340391/262117. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4362 onto the U92413 Tyn Y Coed and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to installing new water main works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 17th of September 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 12 days.
