Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U90012, Green Lane, Byford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U90012, Green Lane, Byford, between the entrance to Fallsbrook to opposite Lower Farm House. Grid Ref: 340235 / 242777. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Church Lane onto the A438 onto Green Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to excavation and installation of BT ducting works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 27th of September 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 11 days.
