Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U81100 Huntington Lane, Hereford, Temporary Closure Order 2018 to

temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U81100, Huntington Lane, Hereford, at the junction with the A4110 Three Elms Road OS Grid Ref: 349069/241876. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A4110 Three Elms Road onto the A438 Kings Acre Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water main and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 10th September 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 weeks.
