NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1234 From Bagwyllydiart To Pontrilas Court, Pontrilas, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1234 From Bagwyllydiart To Pontrilas Court, Pontrilas, from Court Farm to Highfield Farm. Grid Ref: 339636 / 227570. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Llanithog Road onto the C1239 onto the B4347 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to fibre cabling works works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 17th of September 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
