The Borough of Blackburn with Darwen

(Broughton Street, Darwen) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2018

NOTICE Is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, made the above Order under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order is to close Broughton Street from its junction with Dove Lane to its junction with Heys Lane.

The closure is necessary for the following reason: Works on behalf of United Utilities.

The Order will come into force on 3rd September 2018 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 4th September 2018.

The alternative route for the affected traffic will be Dove Lane, Heys Lane

Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
