HEREFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(A4111, U90418 ALMELEY ROAD, C1075 WOODSEAVES ROAD, U90623 ORCHARD CLOSE AND U90622 CHURCH LANE, EARDISLEY) (30MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2018

Notice is hereby given that the County of Herefordshire District Council, known as Herefordshire Council, in exercise of its enabling powers has made the above named order under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to extend the existing 30mph speed limit section on the A4111 at Eardisley by 110 metres to the north and 143 metres to the south to coincide with the village gates and to consolidate other unlit sections of roads in the area that are subject to a 30mph speed limit into a single Speed Limit Order all as follows: No person shall drive a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 30 mph along the following lengths of road: A4111 from a point 70 metres north of where the centre line of the C1075 (Woodseaves Road) intersects the centre line of the A4111 for a distance of 298 metres in a northerly direction. A4111 from a point 5 metres south of where the centre line of Lady Gardens intersects the centre line of the A4111 for a distance of 418 metres in a southerly direction. U90418 Almeley Road from a point 272 metres east of the junction of the U90418 with the A4111 for a distance of 74 metres in an easterly direction. C1075 Woodseaves Road from a point 187 metres west of the junction of the C1075 with the A4111 for a distance of 352 metres in a westerly direction. U90622 Church Lane for its entire adopted length. U90623 Orchard Close for its entire adopted length. All relevant orders or parts thereof will be revoked on the coming into operation of this Order. This Order will come into operation on 31 August 2018. Photocopies of the same may be provided on payment of photocopying charges at the Council. General enquiries relating to the Order should be referred to the Traffic Management Team at ADL Traffic and

Highways Engineering Ltd (Tel: 01454 332100). If

any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
