68 WALPOLE ROAD N17 - PROPOSED CONVERSION OF AN EXISTING DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACE INTO A PERMIT SPECIFIC DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACE THE HARINGEY (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) (PERMIT PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2018

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 23rd August 2018 made the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to convert an existing disabled persons' parking place located outside No. 68 Walpole Road N17 (in which vehicles displaying a valid disabled persons' 'blue badge' are currently permitted to park) into a disabled persons personal permit parking place, which will only be available for the use of vehicles which display a Haringey disabled permit issued in respect of that parking place, without charge or time limit.

No other permit or blue badge will be valid for use within the proposed parking place except for the permit for which it was issued.
3. Copies of the Order referred to above, which will come into force on 28th August 2018, of plans which indicates the locations and effects of the Order, and of a Statement of Reasons for making the Order, may be inspected at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or can be viewed online, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, at www.haringey.gov.uk/traffic_orders.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
