The Borough of Blackburn with Darwen

(Wellington Road, Blackburn) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2018

NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, made the above Order under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order is to close Wellington Road from its junction with Stancliffe Street to its junction with Stansfeld Street.

The closure is necessary for the following reason: Installation of sewer monitoring equipment.

The Order will come into force on 30th August 2018 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 7th September 2018.

The alternative route for the affected traffic will be Stancliffe Street, Spring Lane, Redlam, Redlam Brow, Bank Top, Duckworth Street, Galligreaves Way

Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
