The Borough of Blackburn with Darwen

(London Road, Blackburn) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2018

NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, intend to make the above Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order is to close London Road from its junction with Earl Street.

The closure is neccessary for the following reason: To replace a frame and cover

The Order will come into force on 8th September 2018 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 14th September 2018.

The alternative route for the affected traffic will be Earl Street, Whalley Range, Calder Street, London Road

Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
