Prestonpans Consultation
We want to hear your views the proposed closure of Prestonpans Infant & Nursery School and Prestonpans Primary School and the establishment of a new non-denominational primary school structure and its associated catchment area for Prestonpans. If approved:
? Prestonpans Infant & Nursery School and Prestonpans Primary School will be closed with effect from February 2019, or as soon as possible thereafter;

? A new non-denominational single primary school structure with nursery class and its associated catchment area will be established for Prestonpans with effect from February 2019, or as soon as possible thereafter;

? The new single school structure will operate on a split site within the existing buildings and facilities for Prestonpans Infant & Nursery School and Prestonpans Primary School;

? Children attending Prestonpans Infant & Nursery School and Prestonpans Primary School will transition to the new single school structure with effect from February 2019, or as soon as possible thereafter.

? The leadership and management of Prestonpans Early Learning & Childcare Centre will transfer to the Head Teacher of the new single school structure with effect from February 2019, or as soon as possible thereafter.
