Pre-Application Public Event
Proposed development at the Former Carless Oil Terminal, Erskine Ferry Road, Old Kilpatrick. Malin Group Properties Ltd intends to submit a Marine License application to the Scottish Ministers for development of a marine fabrication complex including demolition and redevelopment of the existing jetties on the Clyde to form a new heavy lift quay. A public exhibition outlining the potential extent and type of development for the site will be held at Napier Hall, 312 Dumbarton Road, Old Kilpatrick, G60 5JH on Monday 22nd October 2018 between 2pm and 7pm where representatives will be able to discuss the site, emerging proposals and respond to any queries or comments. Comments can be left at the event or submitted by email/ postal return to the contact details above by Monday 5th November 2018. Comments submitted at this stage are not representations to the Scottish Ministers butwill be considered in the preparation of the Marine License Application. If the prospective applicant makes an application for a marine license, there will be an opportunity for representation to be made to Scottish Ministers on the application.
If a Marine License application is subsequently submitted to the Scottish Government (alongside a planning application to West Dunbartonshire Council for onshore elements of the proposal) normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken and formal representations regarding the proposal can be made at that time.
