Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U72207, Chapel Lane, Dormington, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U72207, Chapel Lane, Dormington, outside Pump Orchard. Grid Ref: 357619 / 239182. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Colleyhorne onto Priors Court Lane onto the C1292 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new water connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 10th of September 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
