Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the U70408 Leys Hill Road, Leys Hill Walford Temporary Closure Order 2018 to

temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from outside Orchard House to the junction with Stoneway House access road OS Grid Ref: 358917 / 218941. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4234 onto the U70417 The Dean Road onto the U70409 Bulls Hill and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the renewal of existing water connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 5th September 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
