The Borough of Blackburn with Darwen

(Revidge Road, Blackburn) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2018

NOTICE Is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, Intend to make the above Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order Is to close Revidge Road from its junction with Osborne Road to its junction with Mollington Road.

The closure Is necessary for the following reason: Replacing a frame and cover.

The Order will come Into force on 26th August 2018 and shall continue In force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever Is the earlier. However, It Is anticipated that the works will be completed by 26th August 2018.

The alternative route for the affected traffic will be Preston New Road, Yew Tree Drive, Lammack Road, Cuckoo Brow, Footpath From 2 Lammack Road To Rear 42 Harrier Drive

Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
