(ROAD CLOSURE), ORDER 2018

Darlington Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:

A68 WEST AUCKLAND ROAD

From the south side of Rotary Way Roundabout southwards to the junction with Old Coal Road

Access to businesses and residents from the south only.

An alternative route will be signed via Faverdale, Faverdale North,

Rotary Way and vice versa.

The Order is necessary to allow road maintenance work.

The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 14th August 2018, it isanticipated that the closure will be effective for 3 days
