Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1060 From A44 To C1059 Junction, Hatfield, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1060 From A44 To C1059 Junction, Hatfield, from Liberty Charles Cross Roads to the junction with the A44 at Bredenbury. Grid Ref: 360026 / 259259.The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1059 onto the A44and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to construction of 8 passing bays works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 20th of August 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 weeks.
