Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the C1162 Mathon Road, Colwall Temporary Closure Order 2018 to

temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles outside The Croft OS Grid Ref: 375543/242875. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U66408 Ham Green Road onto the U66407 Harcourt Road onto the B4232 West Malvern Road onto the U66605 Brockhill Road onto the B4218 Walwyn Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to clearing blockages in existing fibre ducting works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 21st August 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
