Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1294 From A449 To Upper Walton, Much Marcle, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the useby vehicles on the C1294 From A449 To Upper Walton, Much Marcle, outside SouthBank. Grid Ref: 364863 / 233652. The alternative route for those affected by theproposal is via the C1262 onto the U67421 Lower Waltons and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to burst water main repair works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 30th of August 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months(unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
