BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL
(A321 HIGH STREET/YORKTOWN ROAD &
SCOTLAND HILL, SANDHURST) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2018
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, in any direction, along the following lengths of road:
i) A321 High Street, Sandhurst from its junction with Church Road to its junction with Scotland Hill;

ii) A321 Yorktown Road from its junction with Crowthorne Road to its junction with Scotland Hill;

iii) Scotland Hill from its junction with A321 High Street/Yorktown Road to its junction with Harts Leap Road.

The alternative route for all vehicles affected by the closure will be via Church Road, High Street (Little Sandhurst), Longdown Road and Crowthorne Road, or via this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to protect the workforce
and public whilst maintenance works are carried out on
telecommunications cables are carried out.
The Order was made on 30th July 2018 and will come
into operation on the 1st August 2018. Although the
Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months, it is
currently planned that the closure will be in operation
between 1st and 3rd August 2018.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs
and markings are displayed in the road.
