ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING OUTSIDE SCHOOLS) (No. 1) EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2018 NOTICE OF MODIFICATION PRIORY ROAD, HAMPTON (Ref: 18/115)
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, on 26 July 2018, the Assistant Director, Traffic and Engineering of the London Borough o1 Richmond upon Thames, In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, modified the Order ("the experimental Order") named above.
2. This modification amends the hours of operation of school keep clear markings in Priory Road, Hampton, so that the restrictions operate between 7.30am and 6.00pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, except on public and bank holidays. This amendment to the Order is being implemented in light of the Nursery around which the keep clear markings are being introduced, being open throughout the year and having regard to its operating hours.
3. This modification will come into effect on 30 July 2018.
4. Copies of the modification, the experimental Order, plans showing the location and effect of the amended restrictions and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order: -
(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 18/119 at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_norices.
until the date on which the experimental Order ceases to have effect.
5. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Closure of Footpath and Parking Suspension South Worple Way, East Sheen, Church Path and James Terrace, Mortlake (Reference 18/160)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary closure of Church Path and James Terrace, Mortlake and a parking suspension in South Worple Way, East Sheen.
2. Whilst the works take place,
(a) no person shall proceed in the footpath linking Mullins Path and Mortlake High Street, from a point outside Adelaide Cottage, Church Path to a point outside No. 4 James Terrace;
(b) two parking bays outside Barnes Hospital on the southern side of South Worple Way shall be suspended.
3. The order will come into effect on 30 July 2018. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 30 July 2018 until 19 August 2018 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 6 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for anyone affected by the closure will be available via Vineyard Path, Mullins Path and James Terrace
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Waiting Restriction Ham Common, Ham
(Ref: 18/163)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate filming at the Cassel Hospital, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order to restrict traffic in Ham Common, Ham.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Ham Common, on its northeastern side, from the north-western kerb-line of Upper Ham Road, north-eastwards for a distance of 130 metres.
3. The order will come into effect on 14 August 2018. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 14 August 2018 until 24 August 2018. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
