Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Footpath 10, Bulford; from its junction with the A3028 in a north easterly direction for 233 metres; Byway 12, Bulford; from its junction with the A3028 to Byway 2, Amesbury and Byway 2, Amesbury; from Byway 12, Bulford to its junction with the A303 to enable installation of new water main. An alternative route can be found for Footpath 10, Bulford fenced to the east of the definitive line. An alternative route can be found for Byway 12, Bulford and Byway 2, Amesbury via Amesbury Road. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 30 July 2018 and is expected to be required until 21 December 2018. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) Barkers Hill (Part), Donhead St Andrews
and Sedgehill and Semley; from a point outside property known as Pembroke House, Barkers Hill for a distance of approximately 1.02 kilometres in a northerly direction to enable BT Openreach to carry out underground cabling and clearing of potential duct. Alternative route via Barkers Hill (unaffected length) - Green Lane - Ansty Lane - Britmore Lane - Church Hill - West End - West End Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 1 August 2018 between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 15 August 2018. (b) Shady Bower (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Laverstock Road to its junction with Fowlers Hill; (c) Shady Bower (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Fowlers Hill to its junction with Milford Mill Road to enable SGN to undertake works to replace a gas main. Alternative route via Shady Bower (unaffected length) - Manor Farm Road - Riverside Road - Laverstock Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 30 July 2018 and it is anticipated that the closures will be required until 21 October 2018. Orders (a) to (c) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
