ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order -One-way Traffic Mapledurham, Un-named Road between Lilley Farm and Cross Lanes Date of Order: 6 August 2018 Coming into force: 22 August 2018 This Order is being introduced on public safety grounds as part of traffic management measures associated with Reading Music Festival from 22 August to 27 August 2018. It is organised by Festival Republic Ltd, Regent Arcade House, 2nd Floor, 19-25 Argyll St, London,W1F 7AU. With the intention of reducing traffic congestion at the Chazey Heath/A4074 junction, the effect of this Order (when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed) is to restrict traffic to one direction, northbound in the un-named road between Lilley Farm and Cross Lanes, Mapledurham, from 9am Wednesday 22 August until 5pm Sunday 27 August. This direction will be reversed to southbound to assist egress on Monday 27 August only. Exemptions are included for emergency services. The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the un-named road between Cross Lanes, Trench Green and Lilley Farm (and reversed on 27 August for northbound traffic).
