(Pulpits Close, Ashingdon and Sutton Court Drive, Rochford (District of Rochford) (Prohibition of Waiting) (Amendment No.51) Order 201*
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To introduce 'Disabled Badge Holders only' restrictions on the following length of Pulpits Close, Ashingdon in the District
of Rochford: Road Description
Pulpits Close, EAST SIDE: From a point approximately 0.7 metres Ashingdon north of the common boundary on No.25 and No.26 Pulpits Close, west for a distance of 5.9 metres and south for a distance of approximately 2.65 metres. This Disabled Badge Holder only bay will replace the existing advisory Disabled Badge Holders only bay Tile ref: TQ845 932 revision 1 to revision 3
2. To revoke 'Disabled Badge Holders only' restrictions on the following length of Sutton Court Drive, Rochford in the District of Rochford
Road Description
Sutton Court WEST SIDE: From a point approximately 7.4 metres Drive, north east of the common boundary of No.64b and
Rochford No.64a/64 Sutton Court Drive, north east for a
distance of approximately 4.8 metres.

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 by substituting tile numbers TQ845 932 revision 1 to revision 3 and TQ875 892 revision 2 to revision 3. (Love Lane, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Love Lane, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with High mead for a distance of approximately 65m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th August 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037RO55016061 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacing manhole frame & cover works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Love Lane, Leasway, Love Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 2nd August 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Church Road, Thundersley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Thundersley in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Kents Hill Road North to its junction with Stanley Road, a distance of approximately 200m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th July 2018 for 3 nights (works to take place between 19:00 - 06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2252499 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacing speed table works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Church Road, Kenneth Road, Bread And Cheese Hill, Kents Hill Road North and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 19th July 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Miles Gray Road, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Miles Gray Road, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 290m west of its junction with Chester Hall Lane for a distance of approximately 60m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th August 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2253509 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Miles Gray Road, Chester Hall Lane, Cranes Farm Road, Upper Mayne, Burches and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 2nd August 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Downer Road, Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Downer Road, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 35m south west of its junction with Bread and Cheese Hill for a distance of approximately 40m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th August 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0071000719023 - Cadent Gas). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while laying new domestic service works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.
An alternative route is available via Bowers Road, Felstead Road, Bread and Cheese Hill, Downer Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 2nd August 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Gafzelle Drive, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Gafzelle Drive, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 180m south of its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 75m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th July 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034792817 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation of a new electrical supply is undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Gafzelle Drive, Crescent Road, Gainsborough Avenue, High Street and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 19th July 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Wickford) (Temporary Introduction of 40 mph Speed Limit) Streetworks No 7 Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 40 mph speed limit in those lengths of road in Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, as in the schedule. The speed limit reduction is scheduled to commence on 1st August 2018, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The speed limit reduction is required for the safety of the public and workforce junction works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
The Order will come into effect on 1st August 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
