NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that YHA (England & Wales) intends to apply for a variation of a Premises Licence in respect of premises known as the Ambleside Youth Hostel, Waterhead, Ambleside, Cumbria LA22 OEU. The variation proposed is as follows:-Application is made to amend the Licensing plan in accordance with die attached drawing to enable the sale of alcohol from the 5m2 wooden structure located in the grounds of Ambleside Youth Hostel. The proposal is that the structure will occasionally be used when weather permits for the sale of alcohol and that no other Licensable activities are proposed. A copy of the Application can be inspected at the offices of South Lakeland District Council, South Lakeland House, Lowther Street, Kendal LA9 4UD www.southlakeland.gov.uk during normal office hours. This application was lodged with South Lakeland District Council on 20/07/2018 and any representa­tions must be made in writing to South Lakeland District Council at the above address by 17/08/2018. It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to make a false statement in or in connection with this application.
