NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE -ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -West Lane, High Legh

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic as follows, gas mains replacement work. Prohibition of traffic - West Lane. High Legh -From the junction with West Lane to the junction with Warrington Road

The alternative route will be West Lane, Warrington Road and visa versa which is considered the most suitable route.

The closures will be in place for 24 hours a day This order will come into operation on Monday 30 July 2018 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Monday 13 August 2018.

The alternative route will be West Lane, High Legh Road, A56 Higher Lane, Church Road, Elm Tree Road, Cherry Lane, A50 Warrington Road, West Lane and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route. The closures will be in place for 24 hours a day.
