HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 90C PROPOSED INSTALLATION OF RAISED TABLES WOODVILLE ROAD, THORNTON HEATH
Croydon Council, in pursuance of Section 90C of the Highways Act, 1980 HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that it proposes to introduce two raised tables, as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
It is intended to install these measures to reduce the speeds of vehicles entering and leaving Woodville Road from Brigstock Road / High Street, Thornton Heath and to improve pedestrian safety.

SCHEDULE
It is intended to place raised tables in the carriageway in accordance with the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999. As a guide these will be a maximum of 75mm high and placed in the following approximate locations.
Woodville Road - either side of the island site at the junction with Brigstock Road/High Street, Thornton Heath.
DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES -SCHEDULE 195a The Croydon (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No.10) Traffic Order 2018
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 23 July 2018 made the above Traffic Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in:

PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF TWO SHARED USE BAYS - WORTLEY ROAD, CROYDON The Croydon (North) (Parking Places) (No.2) Traffic Order 2018
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 23 July 2018 made the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to:-
(a) Revoke the existing loading bay in Wortley Road near the junction with Canterbury Road and introduce a new loading bay in Chipstead Valley Road near the junction with Rickman Hill, operating from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday, with
a maximum loading period of 30 minutes. (Note: an existing bus stop would need to be relocated 6.5 metres nearer the junction with Rickman Hill in order to accommodate the new loading bay);
(b) Introduce two additional shared use (permit/pay and display) parking bays in Wortley Road to replace the redundant loading bay, with a maximum stay of 12 hours for pay and display visitors, operating from 8am to 8pm, Mondays to Sundays inclusive;
3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on the 30 July 2018, can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk Croydon, CRO 1 EA.
4. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from Parking Design, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk Croydon, CRO 1 EA.
5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS BUXTON ROAD, THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate repairs to a service pipe on behalf of Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Buxton Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-
(a) Buxton Road will be closed outside No. 38 Buxton Road;
(b) Waiting and loading restrictions will apply and parking will be suspended in Buxton Road on both sides of the road outside Nos. 31 to 39 Buxton Road;
(c)Any other temporary traffic management measures will be introduced as required to facilitate the said works.
3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Frant Road, Meadowview Road and Buxton Road as appropriately signed.
4. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
