ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Cuddesdon, Church Lane - Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 9 July 2018 Coming into force: 19 July 2018 This Order is being introduced because of repairworks to two river bridges which are anticipated to take two weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the that part of Church Road as is carried by the river bridges. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Sworford Lane, London Road, Ladder Hill and Wheatley Road, and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref T5672/SNL)_

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Kingston Bagpuize - Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 23 July 2018 Coming into force: 28 July 2018 Commenced under Notice: 23 July 2018 This Order is being introduced because of gas main replacement works which are anticipated to take 6 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of the A415 Abingdon Road/Witney Road south of the A420, between the junctions of Rectory Lane and Oxford Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the A420 eastwards to Tubney, to the A338 Oxford Rd to Frilford to Kingston Road and vice-versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref T5727/SNL)

1. (SUTTON COURTENAY) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**

2. (MILTON AND SUTTON COURTENAY) (GOODS VEHICLE 7.5 TONNES WEIGHT LIMIT AND VEHICLE WIDTH RESTRICTION) ORDER 20**

Due to the passage of time this consultation is being repeated with the same detail as advertised in 2016 and 2017. These proposals are associated with development of land adjacent to the road.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of Order 1 is to:

? replace part of the existing unrestricted (60mph) limit by extending the 30mph limit on Harwell Road/Sutton Courtenay Lane, southwards from Sutton Courtenay to a point 470 metres south of its junction with Bradstocks Way.



The current Oxfordshire County Council (Sutton Courtenay) (Speed Limits) Order 2012 will be revoked/replaced. The effect of Order 2 is to:

? extend the length of the 7.5tonne weight limit southwards into Sutton Courtenay Lane to a point 380 metres south of its junction with Bradstocks Way.



The current Oxfordshire County Council (Milton and Sutton Courtenay) (Weight and Width Restrictions) Order 1977 (as amended) will be amended/replaced. Documents giving more details of the proposals are available for public inspection online by visiting: https://consultations. oxfordshire.gov.uk, or in person at County Hall, Oxford, OX1 1ND, between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday; and at Didcot Town Council Information Centre, Civic Hall, Britwell Road, OX11 7JN, from 9am to 4.45pm Monday to Thursday, and from 9am to 3.45pm on Friday; Objections to the proposal, specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations should be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) no later than 24 August 2018. The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available tothe public. (Ref.
