Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Long Hanborough, Lower Road
Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 6 August 2018 Coming into force: 13 August 2018 This Order is being introduced because of repair work to the rail bridge which are anticipated to take till the 20 August 2018 to complete.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in Lower Road from either side of the rail bridge. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the
works and for access to premises which are only accessible
from the closed section of road.
The alternative route for traffic is via the A40 - B4022 -
Jubilee Way -A4095 and vice-versa.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of
18 months or until the works have been completed whichever
is the sooner (Ref T5706/AC)
(VARIOUS ROADS - WEST OXFORDSHIRE) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PERMITTED PARKING) (VARIATION NO.**) ORDER 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The Order will further amend the Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads - West Oxfordshire) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Permitted Parking) order 2012. The effect of the proposal, as a result of development of land at the eastern end of Rock Road, is to extend the short section of No Waiting at Any Time (double yellow lines) in Rock Road to a point 88 metres west of Burford Road. Documents giving more details of the proposals are available for public inspection online by visiting: https://consultations. oxfordshire.gov.uk, or in person at County Hall, Oxford, OX1 1ND, between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday and at Carterton Library, 6 Alvescot Road, Carterton, OX18 3JH, from 9.30am to 5pm Monday ^Thursday, 9.30am to 7pm Tuesday, 10am to 7pm Friday and from 9.30am to 1pm Saturday.
Objections to the proposals specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations should be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) no later than 24 August 2018. The County Council will consider any objections and representations received in response to this notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
