SECTION 21 TOWN POLICE CLAUSES ACT 1847

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

1. Notice is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers under Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses act as amended which when it comes into force will have the effect of closing the following roads:-

Kingsway - From Grand Avenue Eastbound

Kingsway - From Kings Road to Brunswick Square - Westbound

Kings Road - Kingsway to West Street

West Street - Seafront To Clock Tower North Street - Castle Square To Clock Tower Castle Square - Old Steine to North Street

Old Steine - Aquarium Roundabout through to Marlborough Place -

Northbound

Old Steine - Edward Street to Aquarium Roundabout Pavilion Parade Marlborough Place Gloucester Place

St George's Place York Place

Beaconsfield Road - Close slip lane & No access to Preston Road and

London Road

London Road - St Peter's Place to Preston Road

Preston Road, Brighton - From Preston Circus to South Road

Stanford Avenue - Preston Road to Preston Park Avenue

2.The order is necessary to allow safety management of Pride Parade.

3. The order comes into force on Saturday, 4 August 2018 from 09:00 to 16:00.
