Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 The County Of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Amesbury) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting Loading and Unloading) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be as follows: To revoke The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Amesbury) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Order 2008, re-enact it in the above Order and to introduce the following; No Waiting At Any Time on the following lengths of road:- Fairfax Close - south side - from its junction with High Street in a north westerly direction to a point at the north western boundary of No. 6 Fairfax Close; Fairfax Close - north side - from its junction with High Street in a north westerly direction to a point opposite No. 23 Fairfax Close; Meridian Way - both sides - from a point 25 metres north west of its junction with the main access into TJ Morris Regional Distribution Centre to a point 25 metres south east of that junction; Mills Way - north side - from its junction with Porton Road in a westerly direction for its entire length; Mills Way - south side - from a point 6 metres north west of its junction with the access road into the recycling centre to a point 30 metres south east of that junction; Stockport Road - both sides - from its junction with Main Road roundabout in a southerly direction for a distance of 20 metres. No Waiting Mon-Sat 8am - 6pm on the south side of Mills Way - from its junction with Porton Road roundabout to a point 30 metres east of the access into the recycling centre. No Loading or Unloading At Any Time on the following lengths of road: Flower Lane - west side - from its junction with Salisbury Street for a distance of 5 metres Salisbury Street - south side - from its junction with Flower Lane in a westerly direction for 52 metres. To revoke The County of Wiltshire (High Street, Amesbury) (Prohibition of Waiting Except for Taxis) Order 2003 (Amendment No 1) Order 2008 for administrative purposes only. Copies of the draft Order, plans and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen Amesbury Library, Smithfield Street, Amesbury between the hours of 2pm - 7pm Monday, 9.30am - 5pm Tuesday and Friday, 9.30am - 7pm Thursday and 9.30am - 1pm Saturday until 13 August 2018. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) Ford Road, Laverstock and Ford; from its junction with Old Castle Road to its junction with Roman Road; (b) Roman Road, Laverstock and Ford; from its junction with Ford Road to its junction with A338 to enable Ringway to undertake works including installation of road narrowing features and associated signing, lining and lighting. Alternative route via Old Castle Road - A345 - Portway - A338 and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 23 July 2018 and it is anticipated that the closures will be required until 25 August 2018. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Avon Valley Back Road (Part), Enford; from property Barn at Littlecott Farmhouse for a distance of approximately 270 metres in a southerly direction to enable BT to replace existing pole. Alternative route via Avon Valley Back Road (Unaffected length) - A342 Andover Road - A342 - A345 - Enford Hill and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 15 August 2018 for 1 day. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
