The Borough of Blackburn with Darwen

(Crossfield Street, Blackburn) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2018

NOTICE Is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, made the above Order under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to close Crossfield Street from its junction with Grimshaw Park. The closure is neccessary for the following reason: Installation of sewer monitoring equipment.

The Order will come into force on 23rd July

2018 and shall continue in force for a period

of eighteen months or until the works are

completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it

is anticipated that the works will be completed

by 14th August 2018.

The alternative route for the affected traffic

will be Grimshaw Park, Haslingden Road,

Bennington Street, Crossfield Street

Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians

will be maintained at all times.
