Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U92411, Slaughterhouse Lane, Aymestrey, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U92411, Slaughterhouse Lane, Aymestrey, outside Upper Lye for approximately 200m. Grid Ref: 339015 / 265693. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U92409 Snedwood Lane onto the U94207 Haven Lane onto the C1007 onto the U92411 Limebrook Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the safe access to carry out tree cutting works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 30th of July 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
