Temporary Closure of Footpath 23, Swanage
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along Footpath No 23, Swanage between grid reference SZ 0209 9340 and grid reference SZ 0164 9445 for a distance of approximately 107 metres. The Notice is needed to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It came into operation on Wednesday 11 July 2018 for a period of 21 days. It will be extended whilst construction continues on the building site. The Notice is required to allow the building of the new houses on the Prospect Farm site.
An alternative route will be signposted around the closure until the works are completed.

Temporary Closure of Various Footpaths
East Lulworth & Coombe Keynes (for Camp Bestival & Bestival Events, 2018)
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an Order under Section 16 (A) of the Road Traffic Regulations (the Special Events) Act 1994. The following temporary Rights of Way (Public Footpath) restrictions will be introduced: All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along:
[a] Footpath 4, Coombe Keynes from grid ref. SY 8499 8388 to grid ref. SY 8351 8318, a distance of approximately 2,200 metres;
[b] Footpath 2, East Lulworth, from grid ref. SY 8590 8173 to grid ref. SY 8603 8204, a distance of approximately 360 metres;
[c] Footpath 3, East Lulworth, from grid ref. SY 8541 8185 to grid ref. SY 8577 8201, a distance of approximately 560 metres.
The Order is made to allow the Camp Bestival and Bestival music events site to be secured whilst it is established, during the events, and afterwards whilst the site is being dismantled. It will come into operation between 23.59 hrs on Monday 23 July 2018 and 23.59 hrs on Tuesday 07 August 2018, a period of 15 days.
Alternative routes will be signposted around the closures using the local highway network.

Temporary Traffic Management Order Camp Bestival & Bestival Events
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make a Temporary Traffic Management Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed to comply with Health and Safety Regulations to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will be in operation from 23.59 hrs on Monday 23 July 2018 till 23.59 hrs on Tuesday 07 August 2018, a period of 15 days. This Order will allow for the safe management of traffic while the Camp Bestival and Bestival events take place at Lulworth Castle, East Lulworth. The effect of this Order is as follows:
[A] From 23.59hrson Monday 23 July 2018 till 23.59hrson Tuesday 07 August 2018, a period of 15 days to:
[1] Impose a one-way system (eastbound) upon the B3070 from its junction with Whiteway [the road to Tyneham Village] at the western end of East Lulworth through the village to the junction with the "Military by-pass", East Lulworth a distance of approximately 920 metres. [2] Impose a temporary 20 mph speed limit upon the B3070 between the 30 mph speed limit signs either side of the village, a distance of approximately 1,000 metres.
[3] Impose a temporary 40 mph speed limit upon the B3070 from Botany Farm westward towards East Lulworth to the deregulation signs, a distance of approximately 700 metres.
[4] Impose a temporary 40 mph speed limit along the "Military Bypass", from its eastern junction at the B3070 to the B307I (Burngate junction), a distance of approximately 4,000 metres. [5] Impose a temporary 40mph speed limit on the B307I from the Burngate junction to the New Buildings Road junction, a distance of approximately 3,250 metres.
[6] Impose a clearway on the B307I between the existing clearways, Botany Farm to the junction with Whiteway, a distance of approximately I700 metres.
[7] Impose a clearway on the B307I between Burngate junction and the junction with New Buildings Road, a distance of approximately
3,250 metres.
[8] Impose a clearway on the C48, Coombe Keynes Road between its junction with the B307I (The Triangle) and Manor Yard, Shaggs, a distance of approximately I,100 metres.
[9] Impose a temporary pedestrian prohibition on the B3070 from
the White Gates at the entrance to Lulworth Castle to the Burngate
junction (B307I), a distance of approximately 2,250 metres.
[I0] Impose a temporary 30mph speed limit upon the C48, Coombe
Keynes road between the B307I and the B3070, a distance of 3,800
metres.
[B] Between 07.00hrs on Thursday 26 July 2018 and 17.00hrs on Sunday 29 July 2018, a period of 3 days and 10 hours; and between 07.00hrs on Thursday 02 August 2018 and 17.00hrs on Sunday 05 August 2018, a period of 3 days and 10 hours, to:
[I] Impose a temporary one-way system on New Buildings Road, between Number 6, Burton Cross and the B307I (one-way southbound), a distance of approximately 2,000 metres.
[C] Between 07.00hrs and 19.00hrs on Thursday 26 July 2018, Friday 27 July 2018, Thursday 02 August 2018 and Friday 03 August 2018, four periods of 12 hours, to:
[I] Impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on Holme Lane, between its junction with West Lane and the B307I, a distance of approximately
3,500 metres.
[2] Impose a temporary one-way system on Holme Lane, between its junction with West Lane and the B307I (one-way westbound), a distance of approximately 3,500 metres, at the discretion of the event traffic manager, to ease congestion and ensure the safety of highway users. If required, this restriction will be indicated by traffic signs on site. [D]From 17.00hrs on Sunday 29 July 2018 until 17.00hrson Monday 30 July 2018, a period of 24 hours and from 17.00hrs on Sunday 05 August 2018 until 17.00hrs on Monday 06 August 2018, a period of 24 hours, to:
[I] Impose a temporary one-way system on New Buildings Road, between Number 6, Burton Cross and the B307I (one-way northbound), a distance of approximately 2,000 metres.
[E] Between 07.00hrs till 19.00hrs on Monday 30 July 2018 and between 07.00hrs till 19.00hrs on Monday 06 August 2018, two periods of 12 hours, to:
[I] Impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on Holme Lane, between its junction with West Lane and the B307I, a distance of approximately 3,500 metres.
[2] Impose a temporary one-way system on Holme Lane, between its junction with West Lane and the B307I (one-way eastbound), a distance of approximately 3,500 metres, at the discretion of the event traffic manager, to ease congestion and ensure the safety of highway users. If required, this restriction will be indicated by traffic signs on site.
[F] Between 07.00hrs and 19.00hrs on Thursday 02 August 2018 and between 07.00hrsand 19.00hrs on Friday 03 August 2018, two periods of 12 hours, to:
[I] Impose a no parking area / clearway on the B307I, Station Road and High Street, Wool between their junctions with Breachfield and High Street Close, a distance of approximately 375 metres.
[G] From 07.00hrs till 19.00hrs on Monday 06 August 2018, a period of 12 hours, to:
[I] Impose a no parking area / clearway on the B307I, Station Road and High Street, Wool between their junctions with Breachfield and High Street Close, a distance of approximately 375 metres.
