REVIEW OF POLLING DISTRICTS AND POLLING PLACES 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Tending District Council in pursuance of the powers conferred upon it by section 18C of the Representation of the People Act 1983 shall undertake an interim review of polling districts and polling places for Parliamentary and Local Government elections. The review will have regard to the outcome of a review of the Tendring District Council electoral arrangements undertaken by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England. We would like to invite initial comments from electors regarding the suitability of the proposed polling districts and polling places to be used for elections and would welcome suggestions for alternative sites. Any residents within the Tendring District may make representations in writing to Polling Review, Leadership Support, Town Hall, Station Road, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex CO15 1SE, by e-mail to pollingreview@tendringdc.gov.uk or by completing the online form at www.tendringdc.gov.uk/pollingreview Please note that we are required to publish all representations made by any person in connection with the review. The Council would also particularly welcome representations from any person or body with expertise in access for persons with any type of disability. The proposed arrangements may be inspected between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. Monday to Friday at the Town Hall, Station Road, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex CO15 1SE or at the Council Offices, Thorpe Road, Weeley, Essex, CO16 9AJ or on the Council’s website: www.tendringdc.gov.uk/pollingreview Any representations must be received by 28 August 2018.
