The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 02/08/2018 quoting the reference number. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: High Street (Part), Ansty and Swallowcliffe; from its junction with Yule Hill to its junction with Kings Lane to enable BT Openreach to carry out work in the underground structure. Alternative route via Yule Hill - Rookery Lane-A30 - Ansty Pond - High Street (unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 9 August 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Wiltshire Council and Dorset County Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council and Dorset County Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) A350 (Part) East Knoyle, Sedgehill & Semley and Donhead St. Mary; from its junction with A303 to the Dorset county boundary; (b) A350 (Part), North
Dorset; from the Wiltshire county boundary to its junction with the Ivy Cross roundabout to enable Tarmac to undertake carriageway reconstruction work including resurfacing, ironwork adjustment and road marking. Alternative
route via B3081 - B3092 - Castle Street - White Road - A303 - A350
(Unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 16 July 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required nightly between the hours of 19.00 - 06.00 until 24 July 2018. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
