Proposed demolition of Bartlemas Nursery, 269 Cowley Road and construction of new College annexe incorporating graduate student study rooms

Oriel College invites you to attend a public exhibition to view proposals for the development described above. The College has a long-standing association with this site and with this part of Oxford City and is currently considering proposals to remove the derelict Nursery and replace it with a College Annexe incorporating graduate accommodation. The proposal seeks to secure additional College accommodation as well as significant enhancements to the site and the Bartlemas Conservation Area as a whole. An application for planning permission is expected to be submitted later in the year. However, the College is keen to seek the views of the local community in putting the submission together to ensure that these views feed into the submission. The College is inviting members of the public to discuss the proposals with members of the project team on 23rd July between 3pm and 7pm at the Sports Pavilion, Oriel College Sports Ground, 283 Cowley Road, Oxford.
