NOTICE OF PROPOSAL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (BRANCH ROAD, MELLOR BROOK, RIBBLE VALLEY AND SOUTH RIBBLE BOROUGHS) (ROAD HUMPS)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980, Lancashire County Council propose to:
1. Introduce bus cushion road humps in the following locations:
a. Branch Road, Mellor Brook, the centre of the humps approximately 75 metres south of the junction with Bosburn Drive (2 bus cushions maximum height 75 millimetres and 3.5 metres long);
b. Branch Road, Mellor Brook, the centre of the humps approximately 155 metres north of the junction with Intack Lane (2 bus cushions maximum height 75 millimetres and 3.5 metres long):
c. Branch Road, Mellor Brook, the centre of the humps approximately 62 metres north of the junction with Intack Lane (3 bus cushions maximum height 75 millimetres and 3.5 metres long);
d. Branch Road, Mellor Brook, the centre of the humps approximately 105 metres north of the junction with Preston New Road (3 bus cushions maximum height 75 millimetres and 3.5 metres long);
e. Branch Road, Mellor Brook, the centre of the humps approximately 46 metres north of the junction with Preston New Road (3 bus cushions maximum height 75 millimetres and 3.5 metres long);
2. Introduce flat top humps in the following locations:
a. Branch Road, Mellor Brook, the centre of the hump at the junction with Long Meadow (maximum height 75 millimetres and approximately 20 metres long and 8.5 metres wide);
b. Branch Road, Mellor Brook, the centre of the hump at the junction with Bosburn Drive (maximum height 75 millimetres and approximately 26 metres long and 8.5 metres wide);
c. Branch Road, Mellor Brook, the centre of the hump at the junction with Woodfold Close (maximum height 75 millimetres and approximately 23 metres long and 8.5 metres wide).
A copy of the relevant notice and plan, indicating the proposal may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of the Ribble Valley Borough Council, Council Offices, Church Walk, Clitheroe, Lancashire, BB7 2RA of South Ribble Borough Council, Civic Centre, West Paddock, Leyland, PR25 1DH and at the offices of the Director of Corporate Services, Lancashire County Council, Christ Church Precinct, County Hall, Preston, Lancashire, PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Council's website http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/roads-parking-and-travel/roads/roadworks-and-traffic-regulation-orders/permanent.aspx.
