Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1127, Hafod Road, Hereford , Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1127, Hafod Road, Hereford, outside number 35. Grid Ref: 352436 / 239605. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Ledbury Road onto Eign road onto Vineyard Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to safe access to excavate a road crossing for the installation of a new sewer connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 16th of July 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
