GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 41494 DOWNEND (HORSLEY PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council intends to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 41494 Downend from its junction with Horsley Hill to its junction with Stevens Way for a distance of approximately 263 metres. The reason for the closure is for gas mains reinforcement The road is expected to be closed from 23rd July 2018 until 26th October 2018 only or until the works have been completed.

Alternative Route - as signed on site Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road will be maintained. Emergency access can not be maintained due to insufficient width of carriageway.
