(COLNE GRAND PRIX, COLNE, PENDLE BOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council ("The County Council") intend to make an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit any motor vehicle, cycle or pedestrian (except race participants) from proceeding over those lengths of road, in Colne, in the Borough of Pendle specified in the attached Schedule to this Notice.

Local alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the closure will be in place.

The temporary prohibition is necessary to enable the Colne Grand Prix race to be held.

The prohibition will be operative from 1530 hours until 2300 hours on Wednesday 25th July 2018, or until completion of the event if sooner.
