LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR THE GRANT OF A PREMISES LICENCE
I, Amrik Singh Rai trading as Overdraft Craft Ale Bar Hereby give notice that I have applied to Southampton City Council for grant of a premises licence under part 3 of the Licensing Act 2003, as follows: Postal address of premises: 383 Shirley Road, Southampton SO15 3JD. The application is for a premises licence for the following licensable activities: The sale by retail of alcohol (for consumption both on and off the premises). The provision ofregulated entertainment, consisting of: playing ofrecorded music.Thepremisesisnowintendedtobecomeacraftalebarserving microbrewery ales and Farmer's Market sourced bar snacks such as pies, pasties, sausages, scotch eggs, cheeses and charcuterie accompanied by pickles,chutneys,saladandlocallybakedbread.Thebarwillstopservingat 22:00 every evening and all customers will be required to exit the bar by 22.30. In addition, we will not be featuring sports tv or loud music. We intend to play lowlevelrecordedmusicsolelytocomplementtheambienceofthepremises. The relevant licensing authority is Southampton City Council, and the statutory register may be inspected at their Licensing Office at the Civic Centre, Southampton SO14 7LY between 09:00 and 12:00 or between 14:00 and 16:00, Mondays to Fridays, or on the internet atwww.southampton.gov.uk/la03register Anyrepresentationsbyaninterestedpartyorarelevantauthoritymustbe made in writing to the Licensing Team, Southampton CityCouncil, PO Box 1767, Southampton SO18 9LAso as to be received by them between the 20/08/2015 and 20 clear working days after the application date. Pleasenotethatitisanoffenceknowinglyorrecklesslytomakeafalse statementinconnectionwithanapplicationand,onsummaryconvictionfor the offence, a person is liable to a fine not exceeding level five on the standard scale (currently £5000).
