(U13212 Austcliffe Road, Cookley)(Temporary
Closure) Order 2018
Order made: to close that part of U13212 Austcliffe Road, Cookley from its junction with U13243 Austcliffe Lane for a distance of 222 metres in a south westerly direction in order to facilitate BT Openreach works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2283 Castle Road, A449 Wolverhampton Road, U13243 Austcliffe Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing: 6 July 2018. (Wyre Forest District - Bewdley area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2018 [Prohibition of Waiting on Lodge Close, Bewdley] On 21 June 2018 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effectofwhich will be to prohibit waitingatanytimeonthefollowinglengthsandsides of road in Bewdley:-
Lodge Close (east side) from a point 13.7 metres south of its junction with Kidderminster Road for a distance of3.7metresinasoutherlydirection;(westside)from a point 36.2 metres south of its junction with Kidderminster Road for a distance of 23 metres in a southerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 12 July 2018.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Wyre Forest District Council, Customer Service Centre, Vicar Street, Kidderminster, DY101DB, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
