THE M56 MOTORWAY
[JUNCTION 12 WESTBOUND SLIP ROADS]
[TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 09346363) has made an Order on the M56 Motorway, in the Borough of Halton, in the County of Cheshire, to enable resurfacing works including the renewal of road markings, road studs, and other general maintenance work; to be carried out in safety. The Order will ban all traffic from the following sections of the M56 Motorway:
i. the westbound entry slip road at Junction 12;
ii. the westbound exit slip road at Junction 12. The prohibitions are expected to take place between 21:00 hours and 05:00 hours (continuing to 07:00 hours on Saturday and Sunday mornings), during a period starting
on Monday 23 July 2018 and ending on Monday 30 July 2018. However, work may start and continue between the same times on subsequent nights until completed. Diversion routes via alternative junctions of the M56 Motorway and local roads will be well signed.
The prohibitions will not apply to emergency services, works, or traffic officer vehicles and will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs.
