ANCHO is a housing association with over 850 properties across eight local authority

areas, with the majority of properties in Ayrshire. It has an annual turnover of £3.8m

ANCHO’s Board has overall responsibility for governance and strategic direction.

Following a tenant ballot ANCHO will join Cairn to form a constitutional partnership in

September. As part of our succession planning, we are recruiting new Members who

have a desire and interest in helping us achieve our aims and objectives. It is a voluntary

position but travel and expenses can be claimed. You will need to commit to attending up

to 9 meetings per year (currently evenings and mostly in Irvine).

We welcome interest from all candidates but are keen to hear from those with experience in:

• Commercial / Finance / Business Growth

• Property, Asset Management and Development

• Community Development and Social Enterprises
