OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, BANBURY)

(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING) (AMENDMENT NO.23) ORDER 2018

NOTICE is hereby given that on 25 June 2018 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order further amends the Oxfordshire County Council (Various Road, Banbury) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading) Order 2002. The effect of the order is to introduce new waiting restrictions as follows:

(a) No Waiting - Monday to Friday 11.00am to 12.00 noon in:



? Brunswick Place, south side, from its junction with Waterloo Drive eastwards for 63 metres;



? Waterloo Drive, east side, from a point 134.5 metres from Middleton Road northwards to Brunswick Place;



? Wellesley Close; for the whole road;



? Wellington Avenue, east side, from Waterloo Drive northwards to the boundary of 6 Wellington Avenue.



(b) No Waiting - Monday to Friday 12.00pm to 1.00pm in:



? Brunswick Place, north side, from Waterloo Drive eastwards for 63 metres;



? Waterloo Drive, west side, from a point 139 metres from Middleton Road northwards to Wellington Avenue junction;



? Wellington Avenue, west side, from Waterloo Drive northwards to opposite the boundary of 6 Wellington Avenue.



(c) to extend the area of No Waiting at Any Time in:



? Merton Street, north side, from 4 metres west of Heyford House eastwards to the eastern boundary of No.12 Merton Street;



(d) to introduce new areas of No Waiting at Any Time in the following roads:



? Alma Road (main carriageway) west side, from Merton Street southwards to near the northern flank wall of Nos.46-68 Alma Road; and from a point 12 metres north of Nos.46-68 southwards for 24 metres; and from a point 6 metres north of the northern flank wall of Nos.82-92 southwards for 8 metres, and from a point 8 metres south of the Nos.82-92 southwards for 13 metres;



? Alma Road, east side, from Merton Street southwards for 21 metres; from 6 metres south of the northern flank wall of Nos.5-15 southwards to a point 19 metres south of the Nos.87-105; Alma Road (minor carriageway), both sides, from Higham Way eastwards to near No.122;



? Marshall Road, west side, from Alma Road (minor carriageway) southwards for 25 metres, from 43 metres from its junction with Alma Road (minor carriageway) southwards for 25 metres; East side - from near the northern flank wall of No.116 Marshall Road southwards for 38 metres; and from Alma Road (minor carriageway) generally southwards for 65 metres.



Documents giving detailed particulars of the Order are available for public inspection at Cherwell District Council Offices, Bodicote House, Bodicote, Banbury, OX15 4AA, and County Hall, New Road, Oxford OX1 1ND from 9am to 4.30pm weekdays, and at Banbury Library, Marlborough Road, Banbury, OX16 5DB, from 9am to 1pm Monday; 9am to 7pm Tuesday, Thursday, Friday; 9am to 8pm Wednesday, and from 9am to 4.30pm Saturday. If you wish to question the validity of this Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within six weeks from 25 June 2018 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
