NOTICE OF HEARINGS

Notice is hereby giventhatthe planninginspectoratewill be holdinganumber of hearings in respect of the application foradevelopment consent ordermade undersections 14(1)(j), 24 and 37 of the PlanningAct 2008 by York Potash Limited of 3rdFloor,Greener House, 66-68 Haymarket,London,SW1Y 4RF.
Theproposed development is theconstruction,operation and maintenance of aHarbour facilityatBranSands,Teesside forthe export of polyhalitebulk fertilizerwhichwill be linked by conveyor to amaterial handlingfacility("MHF") located within the Wilton Internationalcomplex. Thedevelopment will,amongst other things,involve:
?The construction and operationofquaystructureonthe RiverTees at Bran Sands to facilitatethe mooringofvessels in the estuary directlyadjacent to the onshore harbour facilityand allow ship loader access;
?Dredgingofthe berth area;
?The construction of ship loadersonthe quay structuretoloadthe mineralproduct onto
shipsfor onward transportation; ?The erectionofsurge bins forthe ship loadingflow managementofthe mineralproduct; ?Aconveyorsystemtotransport the polyhaliteconnectingthe harbour with the MHF within
the Wilton Internationalcomplex;and ?Ancillary infrastructure.
