CARR STREET, SPENNYMOOR) (PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES & PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES -EXCEPT FOR ACCESS) ORDER 2018

The Council intend to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4 & 127 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect being to introduce on Byway No 30 between Whitworth Road and Carr Street, Spennymoor the following: (1) Prohibition of Motor Vehicles: (a) from Whitworth Rd to Morgan Drive, approx. 160m; (b) Morgan Drive to Rokeby Way, approx. 220m; and (c) approx. 10m west of Carr Street; and (2) Prohibition of Motor Vehicles - Except for Access (a) from Rokeby Way to Wallington Crt, approx. 180m; and westbound from 2m west of Studley Drive. A copy of the draft Order and supporting documents may be inspected at Consett Library & County Hall, Durham during normal opening hours and via the Council website. Any person wishing to object to the proposed order should send their grounds of objection in writing, to Loraine Holding, Legal Assistant, County Hall, Durham or by email to highways.orders@durham.gov.uk quoting ref: 15746 by no later than 20th July 2018.
