Temporary Closure of Old Wool Bridge Road, East Stoke
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrian, cyclists and horse riders will be prohibited from proceeding along Old Wool Bridge Road, at Old Wool Bridge, a distance of approximately 75 metres. The Order is needed to comply with Health and Safety Regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 02 July 2018 and will remain in force for 18 months. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 31 December 2018.
This Order will enable Dorset County Council to carry out bridge repairs.
A temporary bridge will be built: however, it will only be suitable for pedestrians and cyclists.

Temporary Closure of Various Roads, Weymouth
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Various Roads, Weymouth as listed; WYKE REGIS;
[a] Belle View Road from the junction with Old Castle Road to the junction with Bincleaves Road. [b] Bincleaves Road from the junction with Belle Vue Road to the junction with Buxton Road [c] Redcliff View from the junction with Belle Vue Road PRESTON AREA;

The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 12th July 2018 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 25th July 2018. Please note the closures will be in operation, as and when indicated by signs on site. Advanced warning signs will be placed on the road in advance of the closure to indicate the exact dates the closure will affect the road.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Closure of Westham Pedestrian Footbridge,
Weymouth
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along Westham pedestrian footbridge, Weymouth from Westwey Road to Commercial Road, a distance of approximately 120 metres. The reverse route applies. The order is needed in orderto comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on the 19 July 2018, for a period of 26 weeks. However, it is anticipated the works will be complete by the 24th August 2018. This order can be extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary.
This closure is needed due to the location of the footbridge in relation to the construction of an outfall structure.

Any person who uses or permits the use of the footpath in contravention of the order will be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £1000.
Temporary Traffic Management - C60, Bloxworth
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order will be in two parts: firstly (16 July till 10 September 2018) to close the C60 in the vicinity of Manor Farm, Bloxworth for a distance of approximately 150 metres; and secondly (03 September till 01 October 2018), to impose a temporary 40 mph speed limit between The White House, Bloxworth and East House, Bloxworth. The order is needed to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users.
This order will enable Wessex Water to install a new water main in the highway.
Alternative vehicular routes will be signed using the local road network.

and
Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Dorset County Council (Parts of Bridleway 15, Bradford Peverell at Lower Skippet Farm) Public Path Diversion Order 2018
The above order, made on 15 June 2018 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980,
will divert parts of the public bridleway in the parish of Bradford Peverell in the West
Dorset District as shown on the order map as follows:-
Parts of Bridleway 15, Bradford Peverell in the West Dorset District:
From the existing parts of way:
i) From its junction with Bridleway 1, south east of Lower Skippet Farm at
SY 65139146, generally north west along a farm track and passing to the north of Skippet Cottage and Lower Skippet Farm, then west north west through two paddocks, to rejoin the unaffected part of Bridleway 15, north west of Lower Skippet Farm at SY 64659183. (No recorded width).
ii) From the unaffected part of Bridleway 15, at afarm track in Seven Barrow Plantation at SY 64779237, north east along the track, passing through Seven Barrow Plantation to SY 64849244, then turn north west, passing through woodland at Long Barrow,
to its junction with Bridleway 8 (Frome Valley Trail) at Penn Hill at SY 64769259.
(No recorded width).
To the new parts of way:
i) From its junction with Bridleway 1, south east of Lower Skippet Farm at SY 65139146, west south west and entering a field at SY 65109145, then north, along the edge of
the field to SY 65109148 and west along the northern field edge to the farm track at SY 64799151. Then north north east and north north west along the track, passing to the west of Skippet Cottage and south of Lower Skippet Farm to SY 64809167. Continue west north west along the track to SY 64699170 and north north west along the track to rejoin the unaffected part of Bridleway 15, north west of Lower Skippet Farm at SY 64659183. The width of this part of Bridleway 15 is 4 metres. Limitations: Bridle gates at SY 65109145 and SY 64799151 all to BS5709:2006.
ii) From the unaffected part of Bridleway 15, at its junction with afarm track in Seven Barrow Plantation at SY 64779237, north west and north east along the track, passing through Seven Barrow Plantation, between several tumuli to SY 64759246 then through the western edge of woodland west of Long Barrow to rejoin the track
at SY 64789252 and continuing north north west along the track to its junction with Bridleway 8 (Frome Valley Trail) at Penn Hill at SY 64769259. The width of this part of Bridleway 15 is 4 metres.

On 18 May 2018 the Dorset County Council confirmed (without modification) the
above named order as unopposed.
The effect of the order as confirmed will modify the definitive map and statement for
the area by:
Deleting from them part of Footpath 125, Weymouth in the Weymouth and Portland Borough - From its junction with Old Castle Road, south west of 21 Old Castle Road at SY 67517763, east, passing to the south of 21 Old Castle Road, then north east passing to the south of the property Glenthorne to SY 67557764. (No recorded width).
Adding to them part of Footpath 125, Weymouth in the Weymouth and Portland Borough - From its junction with Old Castle Road, south south west of 21 Old Castle Road at SY 67507762, east, via concrete steps, then north east along a tarmac surfaced path, passing to the south of 21 Old Castle Road to steps at SY 6754377644. Continue north east to the wooden footbridge at SY 6754677645, then north east, passing to the south of the property Glenthorne to the unaffected part of Footpath 125 at SY 67557764. The width of this part of Footpath 125 is 1.3 metres at SY 67507762, widening to 1.4 metres at SY 67557764.
